You can upgrade or downgrade your SL45 by the following method:
Warning: Do it at your own risk. The phone can be damaged by doing it yourself.
Note:
1. The battery must be fully charged before doing any type of flashing.
2. Make sure that your computer doesn't crash.
STEPS:
1. Download the program slik52 or newer Firmware versions. (latest slik56)
2. Make sure that the Sync station, charger and cable are properly attached to the computer.
3. Turn the phone off and remove the Sim card. Do not put the phone to the Sync station yet.

4. Start the software. Tick both Skip option (leave if it is already tick).
Click Serial Config, select the Com port and put the baud to 115200. Click the Sync Station and press Ok.

5. Now click start and put you the SL45 approx after 1 second plug your phone into the Sync Station.
6. The software will start and the mobile will be connected. First it will erase the old flash and then install the new flash.
7. When finished remove the phone from Sync Station and switch it on and type *#06# and then press left soft key. If you see a newer software version then everything is ok.
